Bespoke ceremonies reflecting love and loss

Celebrant-led funerals allow families to create a bespoke ceremony that reflects the person they have lost. This can include prayers, readings from the Bible and hymns if you wish, or you may want a completely non-religious or humanist ceremony that includes photo tributes, special memories, a personally written eulogy, poem or reflection. Or perhaps a mixture of all of these. The possibilities are endless…

Direct cremations are also becoming more popular, so you may wish to hold a special memorial service to remember the person who has died. As with all celebrant-led ceremonies, this can be held whenever and wherever you want. Unlike with crematoriums, there are no time restrictions, allowing you as much time as you need for that final farewell.

Whichever type of funeral you choose, I’ll be there to guide you through the process. Together we will create a funeral or memorial service that honours the memories of your loved one and celebrates their life in whichever way you choose. If you decide to book me as your funeral celebrant we will meet, ideally in person, so I can get to know you and learn as much as I can about the person who has died. Afterwards I am always at the end of the phone if you need to chat again.

After our meeting, I'll set to work on creating a funeral script that truly reflects your loved one, pulling all your thoughts, ideas and memories together into a beautifully written ceremony. I can also guide you with choosing readings, music and writing a eulogy, if you wish.

I will deliver the funeral service with confidence and love. I hope it will feel like you have a friend there by your side. I will also provide you with a presentation copy of the ceremony, along with some wildflower seeds to plant in memory of your loved one.
